My first pyramid only 1 spawned but in the space that is between the inner wall and outer wall of the pyramid. My next pyramid had about 12 of them all spawn on the pyramid (not in it). The absolute easiest way is to use hostile nueral network mod. You only have to kill the mob a couple times for the data model then you can just put it into the other machines and farm hearts automatically. Maxed out bow silent gear + apotheosis bow kills it in 5 shots ... It’s a big hard to spot but you should get the template first try then you can use it to craft more. You can technically skip this process by killing pigliches, which is pretty easy with a mob crusher.
